Here are my top 5 Cavalry Units, taking into mind the HP, cost, attack ext...
5. Lakota Dog Soldiers-This would be higher but as you are limited to get them with certain natives and the amount due to the length of the current game, 1 unit per 3 minutes of game play. Otherwise they are a very good cavlary unit. They are particually good against light infantry and artillary.
4. Uhlans-These are speical to the germans and come with mose home shipments as well as the stable. They have a good HP (but not the best) as well as a good attack. They are not a unit to attack from a distance. Aswell they do not cost too much-50 Food and 100 Coin.
3. War Wagons - They are unique to the Germans and have fantastic hp, they are also anti - cavalry which makes them very useful agaisnt the French, also they have more helath than dragoons and other anti-cavalry. That's why they're my number 3.
2. Like in the other best units I have 2 number 2's Oprichniks and Curassiers - The Oprichniks are an allrounder unit. They are stong against cannons, settlers and burning down buildings. They're best in the surprise attacks with speed on their side. They are not the top as I believe number one are stronger and more powerful. The Curassiers however are amazingly strong and the French unique cavalry they are very expensive however at 150 food and coin and population is 3! However they are the best buyable cavalry in the game...
1. Number 1 must be the Spahi and once again, Ottoman. This unique Ottoman cavalry is only available with home city shipments and upgrades but it's very easy to see why. With one or two swings of the Imperial Spahi's blade 2 normal musketeers (maybe veteran) can die!!!! You ahve to pay 200 food per Spahi with the home city shipments but believe me it's worth it, overall you can get 36 of them, which makes them almost unbeatable, even beating Curassiers hands down!!! You don't even have to pay for the upgrades from veteran, to guard to imperial becasue as soon as you upgrade, so do the Spahis and for these reasons the Spahi is my number 1 best cavalry!
